balancing school and work

Balancing school and work.
Balancing school and work can be quite the handful sometimes. Waking Up at 6 o'clock in the morning, going to classes, and getting home at 1. Then after that I'll have a closing shift and work from 330-1130. That's what it's like this semester. I wake up early. Go to school, drive forty five minutes home and attempt to do some homework, and then go to work for the rest of the night. When i finally get home I work on any homework i have left. I don't have these shifts everyday but i get them about once a week and those days are brutal. It's difficult to find room to study or finish assignments.
Last semester however, i had different time schedules. I was able to sleep in a bit but the classes were still in the morning. I would have one class and then a three hour break to finish homework, study or hang out with friends. The Id get out of my other classes around 2 and drive home for the three to 1130 shift. These days were brutal as well but i had enough time to basically finish my homework during my break.

Comparing the two schedules i had, i can say that having the three hour gap in between classes is by far better. It really helps me get my homework done. If i did not work during the semester with a break, then i would have nothing better to do than my homework during my break. The semester without the break however, Id would go home and have no incentive or motivation to do my work. Having a large gap between your classes, I believe, is more beneficial than not having a break at all

  1. Bro, I could relate to this blog because last semester, I had a break from eleven to 2 pm and honestly I wish I had that same schedule for this semester when I need it most. You can always choose your schedule when you have to make it!
